Katie + Matt Married | Indian Pond CC Wedding | Kingston Massachusetts Wedding Photographer

Katie and Matt were married at the beautiful Indian Pond Country Club on November 15, 2014.  It was a chilly day with the fall colors still on the leaves outside and some snow in the distance on the golf course. They had such a fun group of friends and family..all so happy to be together celebrating Katie & Matt.  It was the sweetest thing ever watching Katie’s Grandmothers….and her Grandfather watch her on her wedding day….they were so in love and just so proud. One of my favorite parts of the day was watching Katie’s Grandfather spin her around the dance floor like a fairy tale princess!  Congrats you guys!!! Thanks so much for letting Shoreshotz be a part of your wedding day! xoxoxo

Alessandra + Jared Married | Spring Valley CC Wedding | Massachusetts Wedding Photographer

Alessandra and Jared celebrated such a beautiful wedding complete with many touching Jewish traditions on September 14, 2014 at Spring Valley Country Club in Sharon, MA.  The couple shared a 1st look before the ceremony under the beautiful shade tree at the country club. After the couple shared their private 1st look their family and wedding party gathered for the traditional wedding day photos. Jared & Alessandra hosted a Kabalat Panim, an old Jewish custom where they greeted their guests. During the Kabalat Panim, there is also a ceremony known as the Bedeken – this was a beautiful part of the day where Jared put the veil over Alessandra’s face where it remained down until after the wedding ceremony. The couple also signed the ketubbah surrounded by family, it was an extremely moving ceremony. The wedding ceremony took place inside the country club with the beautiful view of the golf course behind the Chuppah. After the wedding ceremony the couple shared a few minutes alone, away from the guests, this part of the marriage ceremony is called Yichud, literally meaning, becoming one. From the very start of the day everything was so beautiful, so personal and so meaningful. Truly such a pleasure to witness, and after the ceremony …. wow this was one fun crowd! The hora dance was just amazing! Everyone was on the dance floor, beach balls flying, squirt guns squirting, jump ropes jumping…umbrellas opened! Adam from Party Excitement knows how to keep the crowd on the dance floor! Always awesome to work with other awesome wedding professionals, thanks Adam Averback from Party Excitement & Patrik from Videographer for Wedding!

Kathryn + Rob Married | Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station Wedding | Connecticut Destination Wedding Photographer

Kathryn and Rob have been living in Switzerland for over a year and have had the pleasure of  traveling a bit around Europe. They incorporated the travel theme to their Connecticut destination wedding. There were leather luggage tags for place cards, the tables were named with cities they have visited together.  There was lots of travel themed decor, suitcases, globes, and a suitcase for the cards box.  They collected post cards from every place they traveled to, setting up a post card station as the guest book. Guests wrote special messages to the newlyweds and placed them in a personalized mailbox. So neat! They will reuse the mailbox for their first home when they move home to the US.  To incorporate Switzerland into the wedding, the couple chose a signature drink called the “Aperol Spritz”, which is a very popular Swiss drink to have in the summer. It is drank before dinner, stimulates appetite and it’s bright orange. They also gave each guest an adorable gift box with authentic swiss chocolate bites as favors.  To share a bit of her Polish heritage at the wedding reception celebration, Kathryn’s parents gave a Polish blessing. The parents gave the couple a silver coin, bread, salt and wine.  The bride and groom each tasted a piece of bread to signify: “May you never go hungry”. They each sipped a little wine to signify: “Enjoy the sweetness in life”. They each placed a spec of salt on their tongue to signify: “May you overcome the bitterness in life. The Silver Coin siginfies “ may you be wealthy with good health and never be in a financial stress”. The parents kissed the couple as a sign of welcome, unity and love.

Kathryn and Rob are an adorable couple and if you missed the wedding here is a little peek at their beautiful wedding day.  Congrats Kathy + Rob xoxoxo

Barn At Gibbet Hill | Daryl + Tony Married | Top Of The Hill Castle Wedding | Massachusetts Wedding Photographer

Daryl and Tony were married Friday June 27, 2014 at the very beautiful Barn At Gibbet Hill.  Daryl surprised everyone with a magical wedding ceremony at the top of the hill in the old Castle like ruins of an old hunting lodge…..with beautiful stone & ivy and the perfect amount of filtered sunlight made such an amazing setting for their marriage vows. Daryl truly looked like a fairytale princess with her hair fashioned like a soft rose and her amazing champagne colored wedding gown…..and Tony, the handsome prince charming, fighting back tears when he saw Daryl walking towards him.  Their wedding day was perfect from start to finish, the barn was decorated in a vintage elegant theme,  soft colors and flowers with dim lighting and tons of candles. Clockwork kept the guests dancing the night away and the food and drinks were endless. Special thanks to Julie and the rest of the wonderful staff at The Barn At Gibbet Hill for being so helpful and friendly, this is a one of a kind dream wedding venue! Enjoy the sneak peek!!! Congrats Daryl + Tony!!!! xoxoxo
