I am so excited to share this this years family portraits from one of my favorite families! I have known the Belmore family for a few years now, it is always so nice to see them and watch their family grow! Such a beautiful couple with 2 absolutely sweet and charming little boys. I had so much fun playing with them on the beach! I love this session so much because the light and location were perfect! They trusted me to choose the time and location and here is a sneak peek of the results 🙂
Spring – Fall are very busy with Cape Cod Weddings, but I do leave room for some family sessions, especially for previous clients. Family photography sessions on Cape Cod start at $750 and include all of your beautiful images. Contact Shoreshotz to book your session.
Jamie and Jim were married in October at the always beautiful Sea Crest Beach Hotel. The wedding day was so fun, even though it rained….which is usually every brides nightmare! Jamie and Jim are one of the the most amazing, happy, fun loving couples that I have had the pleasure of working with! (and beautiful inside and out). With Jamie’s great fun loving spirit, we were out on the beach, laughing and everyone looked beautiful! Fun and full of smiles with some bright and cheerful umbrellas.
I wanted to share this wedding today especially…. our weekend weather isn’t looking so great for weddings, BUT – Rainy day wedding photos can be absolutely beautiful! Have some fun, it is going to be one of the best days of your life, and besides, rain on your wedding day is good luck!
Here is a little preview of Jamie and Jim’s beautiful and rainy Cape Cod wedding day!
Stay tuned for the details at the end of the post!
Since Jamie is a designer she decided to design and create all of the materials for the wedding so that it had a personal touch. The Save The Dates, Invitations, Welcome Bag Cards, Ceremony Programs, Menu/Thank you cards, and Wedding Website were all designed by the bride. She also stained and hand painted all of the signs throughout the wedding. “It took a lot more time than I expected to create and print the designs myself instead of ordering pre-made materials but in the end we both were so happy to see and feel like that personal touch go into everything”.
Our wedding colors were a soft mint and coral. Jamie also created hand painted wood signs and elements to pull in the wood texture throughout the room. All of the paper elements for the wedding (save the date, invitation, ceremony program, etc) were designed using a watercolor texture.
Since Jim is a big Bourbon collector each of the boys received whiskey glasses with their names engraved and toasted with a bottle of St.George Single Malt Whiskey 30th Anniversary Edition of which only 715 bottle were ever produced.
Jamie’s favorite memories of her wedding day:
“Our favorite thing about our venue was that we had all of our friends and family in one place all weekend. We loved that once everybody checked in and dropped their bags we were “on campus” for all wedding activities. We loved that there was no driving or trolleys involved. We had our ceremony in the beautiful SeaCrest courtyard, our cocktail hour in the courtyard, and then everyone walked inside to the Ocean room for our reception. At the end of the night everyone was able to enjoy the moon over the water on their walk back to their rooms and we all joined together for a brunch the next morning. Being surrounded by everyone we love all in one place was an incredible feeling!

Marilen and Kevin were married at Sea Crest Beach Hotel on April 29. I was so excited to see them, and to shoot my very 1st wedding of the 2017 wedding season, at one of my favorite Cape Cod wedding venues! I was prepared for a little rain that was in the weather forecast with some cute umbrellas. But as luck would have it for this super sweet couple, it turned out to be a gorgeous day for Cape Cod wedding photos! The wedding ceremony was at St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Falmouth followed by cocktail hour at Sea Crest in the courtyard and a celebration in the Ocean View Ballroom. Mark from 2Way Entertainment kept everyone dancing and a great time was had by all on the dance floor! KJ Florals & Dulce Press did an amazing job with wedding party flowers and details. The always beautiful sunset at Sea Crest made for such a beautiful wedding day and gorgeous photographs! Here is a little peek into Kevin and Marilen’s Cape Cod wedding!
Congratulations you guys!!! Enjoy every minute of your Hawaii honeymoon!

I am so excited to share one of my favorite Cape Cod weddings from last Spring. Blair and Sam were married at Our Lady of Victory Church in Centerville. After their marriage ceremony we stopped at Kalmus Beach in Hyannis for wedding party photographs, it was a beautiful Spring day at the beach. Blair brought some beachballs for props, their wedding party was so much fun! The reception was at The West Dennis Yacht Club, a beautiful venue on the water with an amazing sunset view!
