Wedding party attire; from the Bride:
Wedding gown was purchased from The Bridal Secret in Quincy, MA. From the Casablanca Diamond Collection, an A-line, a little off white in color and has a soft romantic feel. It is strapless, has all over lace and beading with a sash around the middle that is a light champagne color. It also has a small train and my veil is fingertip length. The bridesmaids gowns are sleeveless, floor length with a ruffle down the middle of the back of the dress. They are Sangria in color and were purchased at David’s Bridal. MOH is wearing strapless floor length dress in Sangria also from David’s Bridal. Groomsmen are wearing Calvin Klein Tuxes purchased from Men’s Wearhouse. Groomsmen will be wearing silver ties and Groom will be wearing black tie.
Carrie and Josh were married October 4, 2014 at John Wesley United Methodist Church in Falmouth. The bride’s uncle, Reverend Richard Pierce officiated the marriage ceremony. They celebrated their wedding reception with family and friends at beautiful New Seabury Country Club on Cape Cod. Carrie was such a gorgeous, fun and animated bride…check out her ninja bride moves on the golf course! It was a chilly day and the forecast called for rain but we managed to capture some fun wedding party photos on the beach….and almost made it back to the country club…
but got caught in the rain for a quick umbrella wedding photo.
Josh is a commercial airline pilot so Carrie incorporated the flying / travel theme….it was so fun! The save the dates were boarding passes, the table names were airlines (mostly vintage airlines like Pan AM, TWA), escort cards were luggage tags, the guest book was a globe. They even had a big sign like you would find at an airport at the entrance to the reception for “Baggage Claim, Check In, Beverage Cart”. The wedding colors were plum and orange,
perfect for a Fall Cape Cod wedding.
Carrie & Josh you guys were so much fun! Thank you so much for letting Shoreshotz be a part of your special day!!! xoxoxo

Bianca & Julian…. this day was just amazing! October 11, 2014. The forecast was just kind of blah, rain and cold. When I arrived at Sea Crest it wasn’t so bad, a little drab but I had a feeling it would clear up…a bit. Bianca was so excited and a little nervous and a whole lot of beautiful! She had planned so many personal touches for her & Julian’s day…her invitations were so adorable, personal passports and caricatures of each person in her wedding party. The super awesome staff at Sea Crest and the girls from Vows florals decided since the weather was not so perfect…. they would bring the beach inside for B+J’s wedding ceremony! It was just beautiful and they were surrounded in a circle of love by all of their friends and family that travelled all the way to Cape Cod to witness their wedding vows.
After the wedding ceremony everyone gathered outside…. no little bit of rain was going to stop them from an awesome group photo on the beach for this wonderful couple! And…. the rain went away a little more, we had some more fun wedding party photos on the beach.
I often ask couples to talk to each other, take a walk, tell each other a joke…. well I would just die to know what Julian was telling Bianca…. her smiles and giggles and the way they look at each other…. makes me melt! Such a happy day, such a wonderful couple and some seriously fun family & friends! And then…for that famous Sea Crest sunset….
Congrats Bianca & Julian!!! It was so awesome getting to know you guys!!!

This year seems to have flown right bye! Can you believe it is time for the Holiday Season? I was thinking I would skip the Holiday sessions this year but lots of clients that I love to work with have asked ….. and I decided I really do want to do them! So I have changed it up a bit from last years mini sessions… This year I am doing the sessions in Bellingham again, but I am giving each family 40 minutes of time that way we are not so rushed, the kids can get comfy and have fun and we will all enjoy the time a lot more. I am calling it Holiday 1/2 sessions, so you get all that is included in a full family session at less than 1/2 the cost! The 40 minute session is $250, there will be the famous hot cocoa stand, christmas trees and snowflakes as well as lots of other adorable signs and props with lots of help from the fabulous Shelby Kimball OConnell of SKO-Designs! And as always you are encouraged to bring your own blankets / props & even your pets! If you have a larger family you can purchase the full family 60 minute session for $325. Bookings will be 1st come and a non refundable $25 deposit is required to hold your spot. Dates are Saturday & Sunday Nov 22 & 23 and the following weekend will also be available once we fill the 1st weekend or for a rain date. Please contact Amanda to reserve your spot.
Here are some sneaks from 2013 Holiday Mini Sessions.
